Meet the Founder — Hussain Yusuf
Hussain started his professional journey at 21, working with architectural consultancies which helped him gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, reading drawings, MEP coordination, tendering, material quality and many such areas. Early exposure to projects in the UAE and India shaped his deep understanding of specifications and practical site requirements.
In 2009 he founded ALIF to bring a service-first approach in the Electrical industry. Hussain's focus is simple: build direct manufacturer relationships, ensure product reliability, and provide a single point contact for clients from procurement through to after-sales support.
Under Hussain's leadership ALIF moved from retail to projects to LED lighting distribution and furthermore working on manufacturing for LED Lighting products. He continues to lead product selection, quality checks and project coordination, ensuring that ALIF's solutions are practical, durable and serviceable.
